                                                              General Info

  1. Entry Fees:
    For NEW people who join this club:  If your Entry Fee has not been paid by the start of the first Sunday Game of week 1
    or, if  Doug has not received your money order or cheque by the first Sunday game of the season, your club Username will immediately be DELETED on the ofp picks system.  Note also that once the first Sunday game starts the Code (Password) to join the club is changed so that nobody can join the club after this time unless they are given the new Code from Doug.
    For PREVIOUS participants Doug asks that you pay your entry fee per above but if you are unable to pay before the first games of the season, discuss this with Doug via email. All Doug asks for is communication.

     
  2. Tell Doug if you want your name added to the "Participants Names" page on this website so your friends and other people who may know you can watch your progress during the season. Go to "Reports" below to learn what you can do to watch the progress of specific participants.
     
  3. Key Game, Tie Game, Weekly Prize: The reason for the Weekly, Key Pick and Tie secondary game prizes is to keep people who are not close to being in the top 50 for winning a year end place prize interested in doing picks every week for a chance at winning one of those secondary prizes.

                                                             Autopicks

  1. Note: To avoid letting the system submit picks for you any week (autopicks), you should submit picks 2 or 3 or more weeks in advance so if you don't submit picks one week you will get some points at least. It might be a good idea to always keep submitting picks a week or two in advance.
     
  2. If however you do not submit picks, the autopicks system often and most times will get at least 5 points and often more. Note also that autopicks can be used any number of times during the season.

                                                             NFL Statistics / Analysis

  1. Once you have activated your username, whenever you are logged into dougsqbclub on officefootballpool.com, from any screen click on "analysis" at the top of the screen to see analysis on team defenses, offenses, match ups for the upcoming games etc. 
     
  2. Statistics from the previous season remain on this page until they get deleted at the start of the new season. Once the new season starts, these stats get updated weekly. This may help you when doing picks, but of course it could also confuse you lol
     
  3. Also, the top of the screen is where you click on standings to see the club members weekly and season standings. Weekly winners in our club can be found on the "Weekly Winners" page on this club website.


                                                             Friends in the Club

  1. If you know other people in the club and would like to be able to watch how they do each week and or be able to email them during the season to gloat etc. contact me giving me the names of the people you'd like to be in contact with = before the season starts I will do all emails per requests received and let people know the results.  The email that I will send will ask people if they are OK with me sharing their email address.  If you know more than one or two I will ask all involved to share so you can keep contact with all. Adds fun to the season.
     
  2. Do you have friends in the club?  Would you like to watch how they are doing week to week?  Or do you have friends who might want to see how you are doing?
    If the answer is yes, here is how you can do that easily.
    You can create a group that will display Standings just for the people you have in your group.
    NOTE: A Group can have a max of 20 Usernames so if you have more than 20 you have to create more than one Group, that's all.
     
  3. Here is how to create a group(s)and it needs to be done just once for the season..
    A) You need to know the Username(s) of each person you want in your group.
    B) If you want the people in your group to see the same standings as you, then each person
         in your group has to create their own group like you will below.. you'll have to communicate
         Usernames to each person.

     
  4. Log into ofp then click on "Standings" then "xx Standings." xx= "Season" or "Weekly"
    Once you create a group, it can be used in weekly or season standings and in Poolwide Picks.
     
  5. Click on "Group Filter"
  6. Click on "New Group"
     
  7. Scroll down and put a check mark by each User you want in your group.
    NOTE: If your friends have not been in the club over the last 3 seasons their Username(s) will not appear here until they create an account on ofp and join the club.
     
  8. At the bottom of this page give your group a name.
  9. Hit Submit.
     
  10. Now to see your group go into either Standings file (weekly or season) or in the Poolwide Picks file, click on Group Filter then click on your group = you see only your group.

        Let Doug know if you have something that might be of interest to other club participants.
